In early October, we asked you to help us celebrate International Credit Union Day (ICU Day) with I See You Week! We asked the community to nominate that outstanding volunteer and charity to let them know “I See You” for the hard work and giving that make the Capital Region Special. Sunmark randomly selected four nominees to earn a gift of thanks for themselves and a $500 donation for their charity. Here are the winning recipients as nominated by you.
Angel Names Association was founded by Michelle and George Mosca, six months after the stillbirth of their firstborn son, Nicholas. For the Moscas, Nicholas’ death underscored the need for financial resources and supportive programs for bereaved families. ANA’s programs are designed to ease the financial burden imposed by stillbirth, provide supportive programs and services for families enduring the trauma of stillbirth, and raise money for stillbirth research. Sunmark is happy to donate $500 to Angel Names Association
Brave Will Foundation
The mission of the Brave Will Foundation is to provide services and support for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families until a cure can be found. SOAR, a program created by the Brave Will Foundation provides support for families on the one year anniversary of their son or daughter’s passing. The program is intended to help these families spend the day in a way that honors their child and remembers the legacy that he/she left behind. Sunmark is happy to donate $500 to the The Brave Will Foundation
