With the partnership, Sunmark will be a game presenting sponsor for one of the team’s six Times Union Center home games in 2019. “We know sports can bring communities together,” said Frank DeGraw, CEO of Sunmark. “With this partnership we look forward to the competition on the field; but we also look forward to showcasing Sunmark, and how our credit union can help all Empire fans manage and do more with their money.”

“We are thrilled to form a partnership with Sunmark Federal Credit Union,” Said George Manias, COO of the Albany Empire.  “Although we are very proud of the product that we put on the field last year and know we will contend for a championship this season, I am most proud of the relationships and partnerships we are forming within our community.  In order for professional sports teams to survive here, we need the support of the local community through partnerships.  For Sunmark to step up and partner with us, it really proves that they are committed to our community and supporting their hometown team.  I am so very thankful for that.”

Sunmark plans to execute a variety of free tickets giveaways and a VIP experience contest leading up to their sponsored game so everyone in the Capital Region will have the opportunity to experience the excitement of the AFL. Details of the contests will be announced on Sunmark’s social media platforms. Follow Sunmark on and Twitter @SunmarkFCU for updates.
