Assistant Member Relationship Manager (Assistant Branch Manager)-Schenectady

Sunmark is looking for a new team member to join our Management team at our 1616 Broadway branch in Schenectady.

The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the Manager in ensuring that the member service line is run in an efficient and productive manner, while maintaining compliance with overall credit union policies and procedures.  Promotes and participates in a sales and service culture consistent with the credit union’s mission of exceeding member expectations. Serves as a leader and role model to member service staff, effectively creating a high quality work environment where they are motivated to perform at their highest levels.  Provides leadership and enhances, develops, implements, and/or enforces policies and procedures that improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the branch.

 

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a financial institution, preferably exposure to the Teller function to become familiar with routine policies, procedures and terminology. Must have prior supervisory experience, strong computer & organizational skills. Attention to detail is essential in this role.

Credit Consultant- (Call Center)-Latham

Our Call Center in Latham, is looking for a new team member. The primary purpose of this position is to interviews loan applicants to inform members of current rates, policy requirements, and the lending services offered by the credit union.  Receives and underwrites loan applications.  Reviews, evaluates, and renders decisions on loans.  Ensures that all loan applications are thoroughly reviewed, including credit bureau reports, with the intent of maximizing approval options, including cross-sell opportunities. Communicate decision to branch personnel or member.

Competitive hourly wage plus an incentive program based on attainment of sales goals.               

Call Center Business Hours: (Must have availability to work within the hours listed)

Monday, Tuesday 8-5pm, Wednesday 8/9:30-5pm, Thursday & Friday 8-6pm, Saturday 9-1pm.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1yr banking experience with demonstrated sales ability. Excellent communication skills a must. Prior experience with lending/reviewing credit reports preferred.

Member Relations Concierge (Teller)-Brunswick-new branch

Our Brunswick branch, tentative to open in 1st quarter 2019 is hiring!

The primary responsibility for this position is to greet and assist members with a smile, address them by name and thank them for their business. Identify member needs, respond to inquiries and questions. Inform members of our products, services and policies, including ways to access the credit union from a tablet or serf-service kiosk (ITM). Assist members with using the ITM, accurately process transactions, performs vault management and exhibits strong knowledge  of our policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum High school graduate or GED plus a minimum of 1 year in a customer service/sales related position. Prior credit union/financial experience desirable. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Ability to adapt to new technology a must!

Member Relations Concierge (Teller)-Rotterdam

As our Rotterdam branch is hiring a few new team members.

Staff will greet and respond to member questions or direct them to appropriate staff.  Informs members of credit union products, services and policies, including ways to access the credit union from a tablet or self-service kiosk (ITM).   Offer all types of available account access with products and services as well as other related services. Assist members with ITM usage to support Credit Union technology resource’s. Accurately processes transactions daily.  Receives loan payments, processes cash advances and transfers, redeems bonds and processes insurance payments.   Processes transfers and credit card payments.  Accurately balance member transactions, cash drawer and ITM’s daily.  Performs vault management. Runs check scanner and ITM/ATM replenishing and balancing.

The ideal candidate will have a High School/GED or higher plus prior customer service experience, ability to build relationships with our members, acclimate to new technology and strong attention to detail.

Branch hours: must have flexibility to work rotating Saturdays with option for time off during the week. Actual shift may vary based on branch opening/closing/balancing needs.

Member Service Representative (Teller)-Ballston Spa

Our Ballston Spa branch is looking for a new team member. The primary purpose of this position is to provide WOW service while accurately processing transactions daily and researching member questions as needed. Member Service Representatives cross-sell all credit union services to qualified members whenever possible while attaining established goals.

Branch hours: must have flexibility to work rotating Saturdays with option for time off during the week. Actual shift may vary based on branch opening/closing/balancing needs.

Tuesday: 9:00am – 4:30pm
Wednesday: 10:00am – 4:30pm
Thursday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
Friday: 9:00am – 6:00pm

The ideal candidate will have a High School/GED or higher plus prior customer service experience, ability to build relationships with our members, acclimate to new technology and strong attention to detail.

Mortgage Loan Officer

We offer Fixed Rate, ARMs, SONYMA, FHA, VA/USDA, Construction and end loans, 203k etc.

The primary responsibility of this position is to develop relationships with outside leads of the credit union to increase mortgage purchase and refinance applications. 

Candidates must have willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends and able to travel to all branches and outside mortgage locations when needed. Reliable transportation including a valid NYS Driver’s License.

Requirements: Minimum of 2 years mortgage loan origination experience with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook. This position requires excellent communication and time management skills. 

For the first 3-6 months, this position will have a bi-weekly compensation plus commissions earned. After 3-6 months, the compensation plan will change to commission minus a bi-weekly draw plus commission. Eligible for annual loan volume bonus based on the calendar year.
