Credit Consultant/Underwriter-Latham

Our Call Center in Latham, is looking for a new team member. The primary purpose of this position is to interviews loan applicants to inform members of current rates, policy requirements, and the lending services offered by the credit union.  Receives and underwrites loan applications.  Reviews, evaluates, and renders decisions on loans.  Ensures that all loan applications are thoroughly reviewed, including credit bureau reports, with the intent of maximizing approval options, including cross-sell opportunities. Communicate decision to branch personnel or member.

 Competitive hourly wage plus an incentive program based on attainment of sales goals.               

Call Center Business Hours: (Must have availability to work within the hours listed)

Monday, Tuesday 8-5pm, Wednesday 8/9:30-5pm, Thursday & Friday 8-6pm, Saturday 9-1pm.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1yr banking experience with demonstrated sales ability. Excellent communication skills a must. Prior experience with lending/reviewing credit reports preferred.

Member Service (Call Center)-Latham

Our Member Solution Center is hiring at our Latham office, 1187 Troy Schenectady Road.

Call Center Hours: (Must have availability to work within the hours listed)

Monday, Tuesday 8-5pm, Wednesday 8-5pm, Thursday & Friday 8-6pm, Saturday 9-1pm.

Job Summary:

The primary purpose of this position is to provide WOW service while accurately processing transactions,  researching member questions and responding to inquiries and concerns in a blended contact center environment, consisting of interactive video, phone and live chat interactions.  Promotes and participates in a sales and service culture consistent with the credit union’s mission of exceeding member expectations. 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

High school graduate/GED with a minimum of 1 year of customer service experience. Excellent communication and computer skills a must.

 

Member Service (Teller) Glenville, Delmar and Ballston Spa

Our Glenville, Delmar and Ballston Spa  branches are looking for new team members. The primary purpose of this position is to provide WOW service while accurately processing transactions daily and researching member questions as needed. Member Service Representatives cross-sell all credit union services to qualified members whenever possible while attaining established goals.

Branch hours: must have flexibility to work rotating Saturdays with option for time off during the week. Actual shift may vary based on branch opening/closing/balancing needs.

Monday: 9:00am – 4:30pm
Tuesday: 9:00am – 4:30pm
Wednesday: 10:00am – 4:30pm (8am as needed for staff meetings)
Thursday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
Friday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am – 1:00pm
Sunday: CLOSED          

The ideal candidate will have a High School/GED or higher plus prior customer service experience, ability to build relationships with our members, acclimate to new technology and strong attention to detail.

Member Service (Teller)-Brunswick-new branch

Our Brunswick branch, tentative to open in 1st quarter 2019 is hiring!

The primary responsibility for this position is to greet and assist members with a smile, address them by name and thank them for their business. Identify member needs, respond to inquiries and questions. Inform members of our products, services and policies, including ways to access the credit union from a tablet or serf-service kiosk (ITM). Assist members with using the ITM, accurately process transactions, performs vault management and exhibits strong knowledge  of our policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum High school graduate or GED plus a minimum of 1 year in a customer service/sales related position. Prior credit union/financial experience desirable. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Ability to adapt to new technology a must!
