Digital Marketing Analyst

Sunmark’s Marketing team is GROWING!!!

The primary purpose of this position is to effectively manage the online marketing efforts and help execute key components of our direct response programs. Contribute to the ongoing development, maintenance, and evolution of Sunmark’s overall digital marketing strategy to increase performance and optimize resources.  Insuring an Omni channel approach, this position will insure that direct marketing will enhance and support the marketing programs directed at growth and profitability of products.

This role is responsible for the monitoring and reporting of digital marketing efforts, collaborating with multiple internal and external resources, contributing to online marketing strategy, and being the department's subject matter expert in all facets of digital marketing. 

Knowledge requirements for this role include:

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing and/or Digital Technology with 3-5 years relevant experience in digital marketing or no degree with 7 years digital marketing experience.
  • Strong proficiency with tools and applications commonly used in data analysis and process improvement. Ability to analyze and synthesize data and identify trends.
  • Ability to use excellent listening, critical thinking, presentation and communication skills to identify potential hazards and/or changes and present complex ideas and recommendations in a clear and articulate manner to all levels of the organization.
  • Data-driven, analytical skill set.
  • Excellent communications skills and proven ability to communicate effectively
  • Proficiency in most, if not all; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Google Analytics interpretation
  • Ability to manage customer databases and create custom segmentation lists
  • Familiarity with market research and survey techniques
  • Understanding of digital tag management and end-to-end campaign tracking solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines

Member Relationship Advisor-Latham and Rotterdam

Our Latham and 5 Corners branch in Rotterdam are hiring!

The primary responsibility for this position is to assist members by providing product and advisory information.  Researches and solves member questions in person or refers members to the appropriate staff specialists. Cross-sells all Credit Union services to qualified members.   Attains monthly sales goals.   Opens, services and closes all types of personal and business accounts.  Ensures that membership and loan applications are completed accurately and contain all necessary documentation. Conducts consumer loan closings, secures required papers, explains all legal documents, and reviews documentation for accuracy. Accurately processes daily transactions, including, but not limited to, all types of deposits, withdrawals and payments.  Processes cash advances and transfers, redeems bonds and processes insurance and credit card payments. 

The ideal candidate will have a minimum High school graduate or GED plus a 1+ year of banking experience OR demonstrated sales ability. Excellent communication skills a must.

Training and Development Manager

Sunmark’s Human Resources department is Growing!!!

The primary responsibility of this position is to establish, administer and coordinate credit union wide training programs for staff and management.  Serve as a leader and role model, effectively create a high-quality work environment where staff are motivated to perform at their highest levels.  Provide leadership and enhance, develop, implement, and/or enforce policies and procedures that improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the training area.

A typical day will include working with our Executive Management team, Department Managers and staff to align training goals with department objectives. Identify training priorities and develops an annual training plan that effectively meets those needs. Supervises and maintains adequate workflow for the Training Specialist. Designs and delivers training courses and sessions. Plan and evaluate resources needed to meet training and development goals. Create training evaluation systems tailored to individual training programs to effectively measure what training participants learned.  Develop metrics to assess benefits of training and quality of training and provide reports to VP of HR on progress against training objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a college degree plus 3+ years experience in training/teaching profession. Must have strong communication skills, leadership ability, proficiency in MS Office, proven organizational skills and preferably experience with public speaking.
