National Police Week was established by a joint resolution of Congress in 1962 and this year is commemorated May 14 through May 20, 2017. National Police Week pays special recognition to law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others.

During National Police Week, Sunmark will show our appreciation to our local police who serve our communities with ‘Beyond The Badge’. Each day this week ‘Beyond The Badge’  will feature police officers from our area departments who go above and beyond in the pursuit of making a positive difference in law enforcement.
