We offer Fixed Rate, ARMs, SONYMA, FHA, VA/USDA, Construction and end loans, 203k etc.

The primary responsibility of this position is to develop relationships with outside leads of the credit union to increase mortgage purchase and refinance applications.

Candidates must have willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends and able to travel to all branches and outside mortgage locations when needed. Reliable transportation including a valid NYS Driver’s License.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Minimum of 2 years mortgage loan origination experience with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook. This position requires excellent communication and time management skills.

For the first 3-6 months, this position will have a bi-weekly compensation plus commissions earned. After 3-6 months, the compensation plan will change to commission minus a bi-weekly draw plus commission. Eligible for annual loan volume bonus based on the calendar year.

The primary responsibility for this position is to assist members by providing product and advisory information. Researches and solves member questions in person or refers members to the appropriate staff specialists. Cross-sells all Credit Union services to qualified members.   Attains monthly sales goals.   Opens, services and closes all types of personal and business accounts. Ensures that membership and loan applications are completed accurately and contain all necessary documentation. Conducts consumer loan closings, secures required papers, explains all legal documents, and reviews documentation for accuracy. Accurately processes daily transactions, including, but not limited to, all types of deposits, withdrawals and payments. Processes cash advances and transfers, redeems bonds and processes insurance and credit card payments.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum High school graduate or GED plus a 1+ year of banking experience OR demonstrated sales ability. Excellent communication skills a must.  Must obtain Mortgage Loan Officer certification within 6 months of employment.

Hours of work are typically Monday through Friday 8:30-5pm.

The primary purpose of this position is to enhance member service by offering Sunmark’s products and services, via outbound calling, to members. Seeks to attain established goals on key products as assigned on a monthly basis. Interviews loan applicants to inform members of current rates, policy requirements, and the lending services offered by the credit union. Works closely with the Member Solution Center staff to resolve any member service issues.

Qualifications: High school graduate or GED plus 1-2 years of demonstrated sales ability. Excellent communication skills a must. Prior related credit union/financial experience preferred.

The primary purpose of this position is to assist in the daily operation and supervision of the member service line, including, but not limited to staff training, new employee orientation, and staff scheduling. Maintains adequate workflow on the member service line and ensures all policies and procedures are uniformly followed. Performs and supervises the daily processing of all types of transactions completed. Ability to open and close the branch on a regular basis. Cross-sells all credit union products and services to the membership. Seeks to attain established goals on key products as assigned on a monthly basis. Balance members’ transactions, cash drawers and TCRs daily and completes balance report for the Accounting Department. Maintains and balances the vault and completes balancing report. Responsible for supplying and balancing the branch’s ATM (s).

Competitive hourly wage plus an incentive program based on sales referrals.     

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of High school graduate or GED and prior Teller experience. Demonstrated ability to meet sales goals and proficient with computers. Must have excellent communication skills. Supervisory experience preferred.

The primary purpose of this position is to research and solve member questions, problems, and complaints either by telephone or written correspondence. Achieves and maintains designation as Notary Public and provides notary services as requested. Attains established group and individual key sales results on products and services as assigned on a monthly basis. Accepts membership applications, ensuring each application reflects proper signatures and receipt of all legal documentation pertaining to member accounts. Ensures that all member information is complete and accurate. Processes business transactions as well as opens sub accounts for consumers and businesses. Conducts consumer loan closings, secures required papers, explains all legal documents, and reviews documentation for accuracy.

 

The ideal candidate will have a High school graduate or GED or higher plus a minimum of 1 year of demonstrated sales ability, preferably in the banking industry. Excellent communication skills a must. Mortgage Loan certification will be required within 6 months of employment.
