This position is located at our Latham Administrative Offices, 1187 Troy Schenectady Road, Latham. Must be able to accommodate a flexible schedule including on call hours as necessary and reliable transportation to travel to our branches as needed.

The primary purpose of the Business Services Specialist is to assist in the daily operational phases related to Sunmark Federal Credit Union’s Information Technology (IT) environment, and to serve as level 1 & 2 support for all IT issues. This position will also assist in all aspects of; supporting all endpoint devices, application installations, configuration management, security settings, documentation, phone system and basic network troubleshooting.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have an Associates degree or higher and at least 3 years of experience in a Helpdesk role. Prior experience with core data processing systems and associated software preferred. OR successful completion of college/certification level courses in the following related areas: Desktop Imaging, ServiceDesk Support, Database Reporting, or Linux/UNIX/Windows OS is preferred. Must have strong attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills. Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changes in the work environment. Demonstrates strong customer service, communication, project management skills.  Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Our Ballston Spa branch is looking for a new team member.

The primary purpose of this positon is to assist in the daily operation and supervision of the member service line, including, but not limited to staff training, new employee orientation, and staff scheduling. Maintains adequate workflow on the member service line and ensures all policies and procedures are uniformly followed.  Performs and supervises the daily processing of all types of transactions completed. Ability to open and close the branch on a regular basis. Cross-sells all credit union products and services to the membership. Seeks to attain established goals on key products as assigned on a monthly basis.  Balance members’ transactions, cash drawers and TCRs daily and completes balance report for the Accounting Department. Maintains and balances the vault and completes balancing report. Responsible for supplying and balancing the branch’s ATM (s).

Qualifications: High school graduate or GED plus 1yr teller experience. Demonstrated ability to meet sales goals and proficient with computers. Must have excellent communication skills. Supervisory experience preferred.

Our Colonie branch located on the corner of Central Ave and New Karner Road is hiring a PT Member Service Representative (Teller)

Hours: Monday: 11-5:30pm, Thursday & Friday 11-6:30pm, Saturday 8:30-1:30pm

Competitive hourly wage plus an incentive program based on attainment of sales goals.              

The primary purpose of this position is to provide WOW service while accurately processing transactions daily and researching member questions as needed. Member Service Representatives cross-sell all credit union services to qualified members whenever possible while attaining established goals.

 Qualifications: High school graduate or GED. 6 months cash handling (preferred), retail/sales and customer service experience. Computer proficiency and excellent communication skills. Prior related credit union/financial experience desirable.
