Sunmark realizes how important education is. That's why we offer a list of resources to help fund your education.
Federal & State Resources
Beginning July 2010, all new federal student loans will be issued via the William D. Ford Direct Loan Program. Information about the federal Direct Loan Program is available here http://www2.ed.gov/offices/OSFAP/DirectLoan/index.html.
Many state resources also exist. Visit the New York State Higher Education Services Corporation http://www.hesc.com for more information about available loans, grants and scholarships.

Financing Alternatives
A Home Equity Line of Credit can be a great option for financing college education costs - you can use it as needed and only pay interest on the balance you use. Click here for more information about Sunmark's Home Equity Line of Credit.
Sunmark's Scholarship Program
Each year Sunmark awards five $500 scholarships to high school students about to enter college.
Download a copy of the Sunmark Scholarship Application.
Once complete, return your application to any Sunmark branch. The deadline for applications will be announced in the fall.
