PT Teller-Schenectady (details)

Come work for a company voted by the "Business Review" as one of the "Best Places to Work" in the Capital Region for the past 5 years.

We are looking for a PART TIME Teller to work at our 1616 Broadway branch in Schenectady.

Hours: Monday 8:30-5:15pm
Thursday and Friday 10:30-6:15pm
Saturday 8:30am -1:15pm, 25-27hrs/wk

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Processes transactions daily
, including, but not limited to, all types of deposits and withdrawals. Issues money orders and travelers checks, receives loan payments, and processes cash advances and transfers. Researches and solves member questions, problems, and complaints either by telephone, correspondence, or in-person.

2. Balances member transactions and cash drawer daily and completes balance report for the Accounting Department.

3. Provides members with information pertaining to services offered by the credit union, including new products and services and either transacts business or creates a referral to the appropriate staff person.

4. Cross-sells all credit union services to qualified members whenever possible. Seeks to attain established goals on key products as assigned on a monthly basis.

5. Provides Wow! Service in each interaction with members and staff, promoting and participating in a sales and service culture consistent with the credit union’s mission of exceeding member expectations.

Requirements:
1. High school graduate or equivalent plus 6 months cash handling, retail/sales exp and customer service exp. Prior related credit union/financial experience desirable.

2. Aptitude with figures and the ability to work well under pressure.
3. Computer proficiency.
4. Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing; ability to communicate effectively and professionally with others, including exhibiting a courteous, conscientious, and generally businesslike manner in the workplace.

FT Teller-Colonie (details)

We are looking for a Full time Teller to work in our Colonie branch. MUST be able to work rotating Saturday's.

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Processes transactions daily
